Alaska State Society “574” BBQ
July 12, 2008

It’s time once again to celebrate the sweltering D.C. summer with all of the Alaskans in the area. This year we are excited to host the event on the rooftop of the Watergate building, overlooking the Potomac River.

When: Saturday, July 12, 2008

Time: 1pm - 4pm

Who: All Alaskans and Alaska fans

Where: Watergate, 600 New Hampshire Avenue NW , 12th floor
(5 minutes from the Foggy Bottom metro, or park at the Kennedy Center or Watergate Building)

What: We have plenty of delicious salmon, halibut and Alaska beer! Bring your favorite side dish and a friend to sweat out the summer Alaska style. Please RSVP to alaskastatesociety@yahoo.com.

- This event is free and open to non-members, so please encourage friends to join us!

- POTLUCK! Once again, please bring your favorite appetizer, side or dessert to share.

- The Alaska State Society would like to give a special thanks to Duncan Smith and Connie Gause at Blank Rome for helping us host the BBQ this year.

- Be sure to bring hats, sunglasses and sunscreen… we’re planning for a perfect summer day, and around here that means HOT!
